Serving County Road 14 and surrounding communities with dedicated emergency response and fire prevention.
Waterloo Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department · Station 2
When danger strikes in the Waterloo community, trained volunteers from your own street respond. No delay. No waiting for help to arrive. Just people who live here, who care here, and who are ready here.
Our Mission
The Waterloo Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department Station 2 exists because people in this community chose to show up for each other. Every member of our team answers the alarm not for a paycheck — but because they live here, their children go to school here, and their neighbors are the ones who need protection when the call comes in.
From structure fires and vehicle accidents to medical emergencies and natural disaster response, our station provides first-response coverage across the Waterloo area and surrounding rural routes. We train continuously, maintain our equipment with care, and respond with the urgency that every emergency demands.
Dedicated to safeguarding lives, property, and the environment in our service area.
Every responder is a neighbor who gives their time, training, and commitment.
24-hour dispatch and rapid response, every day of the year.

Community Impact
The Waterloo community is the kind of place where people know each other's names, watch out for one another, and show up when it matters. That spirit is exactly what drives our volunteer fire department. Every response, every training session, every community event is an investment in the people who call this area home.
We believe that prepared communities are safer communities. That's why we invest in regular public education, participate in local events, and maintain open lines of communication with residents. Your awareness and cooperation make our job safer — and your neighborhood stronger.
